What Will You Be Stitching in 2016?

TNNA is releasing data from their recent survey of people who do needle arts.

In their survey they asked folks what kind of needlepoint they planned to do.

Here’s what they said:

  • 64% will be making flat ornaments
  • 34% will be making 3-D ornaments
  • 66% will be making pictures
  • 53% will be making pillows
  • 23% will be making stockings
  • 4% will be making stocking cuffs
  • 21% will ber making boxes, box tops or box insets
  • 18% will be making belts
  • 16% will be making purses
  • 8% will be making glasses cases
  • 6% will be making cases for tablets and readers

The biggest increases in popularity were for pillows, purses, and 3-D ornaments.
