Thistle Needleworks (506 Silas Deane Highway) in Wethersfield, CT, and their online shop Alex-Paras Needle Arts are supporting great charities in the Stitch for a Cause program when you purchase select items from them. Their Stitch for a Cause program has helped over 80 charities in the last several years. This month your purchases from the program support Mercy Chefs (a non-profit disaster relief organization providing food service during natural disasters and in underserved communities across the country).
When you purchase one of the featured items, you choose one of two options —
a) Purchase the item at full price, and the company will donate 20% of the price to the cause of the month
— OR —
b) Purchase the item at 10% off, and the company will donate 10% of the price to the month’s cause.
Products to support the cause this month are a variety of food-related needlepoint canvases and a selection of Cross Stitch Patterns from Douglas Designs/Raspberry Patch Design Studio and Prairie Grove Peddler.
