Needlepoint as a “Weapon”

It’s not often that needlepoint graces the pages of the Daily Mail. It’s even less often that the tools of what the article calls “one of the most ladylike and genteel of hobbies” in the article ends up being the subject of controversy.

But that’s what is in a recent article in the paper about a needlepointer with a high-level security classification wanted to bring her needlepoint with her to work on during down times as a juror.

You’ve got to read it to believe it.
