Moore than Needlepoint (850 Linden Road) in Pinehurst has stitch this lovely Gingerbread Village as a fundraiser for Prancing Horse, which “provides a safe environment for therapeutic horsemanship to enhance the lives of individuals with special needs.” The village has five houses, a gingerbread couple, an iced lake and lighting.
Here’s how to help, “Your chance to win our Gingerbread Village can be purchased for $10 per ticket or three tickets for $25 at Moore than Needlepoint. All proceeds go directly to Prancing Horse. Please make your donation by check made out to Prancing Horse. Your donation is tax deductible. You may request as many tickets as you like. The winner will be drawn on December 7, 2019 at a reception at the shop so it can grace your home for the Christmas holidays. You do not have to be present to win. We are happy to ship it if the winner is not local.”
